Hanna Instrument's Edgeis a thin, lightweight product and has the ability to measure pH, electrical conductivity (EC) and dissolved oxygen (DO) through its unique digital electrodes.  This model comes with an EC electrode configured for multiparameter EC testing. Additional probes can be purchased separately to expand the meter testing capabilities for pH and dissolved oxygen (DO) testing. The Edge is portable and can be set on your lab bench or even mounted on the wall for easy and convenient use.  The Edge simplifies measurement, configuration, calibration, and diagnostics, logging and transferring the data to a computer or a USB drive.  This device would be a great addition for the beginner or professional winemaker.

Four Ring Probe:The HI2030 edge EC/TDS/Salinity meter is supplied with the HI763100 four ring platinum conductivity probe that has a built in temperature sensor for automatic temperature compensated measurements. The four ring technology allows for a wide range of measurement with a single probe as compared to amperometric two pole probes that have a limited range and can suffer from polarization effects.
